ஆந்திர சட்டமன்ற தேர்தலில், காங்கிரஸ் கட்சிக்கு வெற்றி வாய்ப்பு இருப்பதாக கருத்துக்கணிப்பில் தெரிய வந்து இருக்கிறது.

ஆந்திர சட்டமன்ற தேர்தல்

ஆந்திராவில் பாராளுமன்ற தேர்தலுடன், சட்டமன்ற தேர்தலும் நடக்கிறது. இந்த தேர்தல் ஏப்ரல் 16, மற்றும் 23-ந் தேதிகளில், இரு கட்டமாக நடைபெறுகிறது.

இந்த தேர்தலில் காங்கிரஸ், பாரதீய ஜனதா ஆகிய கட்சிகள் கூட்டணி ஏதும் இன்றி தனியாக போட்டியிடுகின்றன. மார்க்சிஸ்டு, இந்திய கம்ïனிஸ்டு, தெலுங்கானா ராஷ்டீரிய சமிதி, தெலுங்கு தேசம் ஆகிய கட்சிகள் கூட்டணி அமைத்து, ஓரணியாக போட்டியிடுகின்றன.

தெலுங்கு நடிகர் சிரஞ்சீவியின் பிரஜா ராஜ்ஜியம் கட்சி தனித்து போட்டியிடுகிறது.

கருத்து கணிப்பு

ஆந்திர சட்டமன்ற தேர்தலில் எந்த கட்சிக்கு வெற்றி வாய்ப்பு இருக்கிறது என்பது பற்றி நீல்சன் ஓ.ஆர்.ஜி. அமைப்பு, என்.டிவி.யுடன் இணைந்து, மக்களிடம் கருத்துக்களை கேட்டு, அதன் முடிவுகளை அறிவித்து இருக்கிறது.

தெலுங்கானா ராஷ்டீரிய சமிதிக்கு 4 முதல் 6 இடங்கள் மட்டுமே கிடைக்கும் என்று கருதப்படுகிறது.

வட ஆந்திர பகுதியில்

காங்கிரஸ் கட்சிக்கு, வட ஆந்திர பகுதி எனப்படும் கடற்கரை பகுதியில் மட்டும் 77 முதல் 88 தொகுதிகளும், ராயல சீமா பகுதியில் 35 முதல் 41 இடங்களும் கிடைக்கும் என்று கருத்துக்கணிப்பில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டு உள்ளது.

ராயல சீமா பகுதியில் தெலுங்கு தேசம் கூட்டணிக்கு 13 முதல் 15 இடங்களும், சிரஞ்சீவியின் கட்சிக்கு 3 இடங்களும் கிடைக்கும் என்று கருதப்படுகிறது. வட ஆந்திர பகுதியில் தெலுங்கு தேசம் கூட்டணி 20 முல் 24 தொகுதிகளிலும், சிரஞ்சீவியின் கட்சி 21 முதல் 28 தொகுதிகளிலும் வெற்றி பெறலாம் என்றும் கருதப்படுகிறது.

ஆந்திர சட்டசபைத் தேர்தலில் நடிகர் சிரஞ்சீவியை எதிர்த்து நடிகை ஜீவிதாவையும், மக்களவைத் தேர்தலில் தெலுங்கானா ராஷ்ட்ரீய சமிதி தலைவர் சந்திரசேகர் ராவை எதிர்த்து அசாருதீனையும் நிறு்த்த காங்கிரஸ் திட்டமிட்டுள்ளது.

ஆந்திராவில் நாடாளுமன்றத் தேர்தலுடன் சேர்த்து சட்டசபைக்கும் தேர்தல் நடக்கிறது. இங்கு ஏப்ரல்16,23 தேதிகளில் 2 கட்டமாக ஓட்டுப்பதிவு நடக்கிறது.

இம் முறை ஆந்திராவில் 4 முனை போட்டி நிலவுகிறது. காங்கிரஸ், பாஜக, சிரஞ்சீவியின் பிரஜா ராஜ்ஜியம் ஆகிய கட்சிகள் தனித்து போட்டியிடுகின்றன.

தெலுங்கு தேசம், தெலுங்கானா ராஷ்ட்ரிய சமீதி, இந்திய கம்யூனிஸ்ட், மார்க்சிஸ்ட் கம்யூனிஸ்ட் ஆகியவை கூட்டணி அமைத்து தேர்தலை சந்திக்கின்றன.

காங்கிரசும், பாஜகவும் அனைத்து தொகுதியிலும் போட்டியிடவுள்ளன. மற்ற கட்சிகளிடையே தொகுதி பங்கீடு இன்னும் முடியவில்லை.

சிரஞ்சீவி திருப்பதி சட்டசபை தொகுதியில் போட்டியிடுவதாக அறிவித்துள்ளார். அவரை எதிர்த்து சினிமாவைச் சேர்ந்த வேட்பாளரையே நிறுத்த காங்கிரஸ் முடிவு செய்துள்ளது.

நடிகர்-இயக்குனர் ராஜசேகரின் மனைவியான நடிகை- இயக்குனர் ஜீவிதாவை காங்கிரஸ் நிறுத்தலாம் என்று தெரிகிறது.

ஏற்கனவே தெலுங்கு பட உலகில் சிரஞ்சீவிக்கும் ராஜசேகருக்கும் இடையே போட்டி நிலவி வருகிறது. சிரஞ்சீவி அரசியலுக்கு வருவதை ராஜசேகர் கண்டித்தபோது அவரை சிரஞ்சீவி ரசிகர்கள் தாக்கிய சம்பவமும் நடந்தது. இதைடுத்தே காங்கிரசில் இணைந்தார் ராஜசேகர்.

அதே போல மேடக் நாடாளுமன்றத் தொகுதியில் தெலுங்கானா ராஷ்டிரீய சமிதி தலைவர் சந்திரசேகர ராவ் போட்டியிட உள்ளார். அவரை எதிர்த்து காங்கிரஸ் சார்பில் முன்னாள் கிரிக்கெட் வீரர் அசாருதீன் நிறுத்தப்படுவார் என்று தெரிகிறது.

இந்தத் தொகுதியில் முஸ்லிம் ஓட்டுக்கள் கணிசமாக உள்ளன. அசாருதீனை நிறுத்தினால் ராவின் வெற்றியை தடுத்துவிடலாம் என காங்கிரஸ் கருதுகிறது.

தென்னிந்தியாவிலே, ஆந்திர மாநிலம் குண்டூரில் இந்தியாவின் மிகப் பெரிய மிளகாய்ச் சந்தைகளில் ஒன்றில் பெரிய அளவில் தீ பரவியதில் அந்தச் சந்தை பெரும் சேதத்துக்குள்ளாகியிருக்கிறது.

பெருமளவிலான மிளகாய் தீயில் கருகியதால், அவ்விடத்தைச் சுற்றியும் காரமான நெடியுடன் கண் எரிச்சல் தருகின்ற புகை பரவியிருப்பது, தீயைக் கட்டுப்படுத்த முயலும் தீயணைப்புப் படையினருக்கு தடங்கலை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.

இந்த சம்பவத்தில் ஆட்கள் யாருக்கும் பாதிப்பு இல்லை என்று கூறப்படுகிறது. தீ எவ்வாறு பரவியது என்ற விபரம் இதுவரை தெளிவாகவில்லை.

The Hindu Business Line : Guntur chilli market yard gutted, loss estimated at Rs 55 cr: “AP Govt to decide on compensation package after insurance payment

A major fire broke out in the Guntur chilli market yard, the biggest one in the country for the spice, on Saturday, heavily damaging chilli stocks and even a branch of Andhra Bank.

As per the initial enquiry conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Government, out of the 2,01,000 bags of chillies, 1,90,000 bags were burnt.

“There was a stock of 1,06,000 bags of chillies of farmers and 95,000 bags belonging to purchasers at the time of the fire. The total damage including that of infrastructure is estimated to be around Rs 55 crore, while around Rs 30 crore worth of chillies were burnt,” the Chief Minister, Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy, told a press conference after holding a review meeting here on Saturday.
Insurance

He also said the Government will look at the amount insurance companies will give and then decide on a compensation package. “Fifty shops of commission agents were insured at Rs 1 lakh by the agents for the commodity and the Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee (APMC), Guntur has insured the structures for Rs 23 crore,” Mr Reddy added.

The fire broke out in the morning when a lorry hit overhead electric wires, causing a short circuit. The Chief Minister also ruled out a possibility of sabotage but said an enquiry will be conducted. Earlier, the State Marketing Minister, Mr M. Mareppa, pegged the initial loss at Rs 40 crore.

The market yard is on the Guntur-Chilakaluripeta road and a cluster of 25-30 cold storages are situated in the region within a radius of 15 km.

One of the major handicaps in putting out the fire was that there were not enough fire tenders. The district administration had to summon tenders from nearby Vijayawada and Ongole. In view of this, officials faced problems in putting out a fire at a cluster of 25 houses in Chirala. Until evening, the fire had not been brought under control.

Mr Srinivas Reddy, a trader in the APMC market, said that being the peak season, arrivals were about 1.5 lakh bags last week and over two lakh bags were stored in the warehouses.
Price run

“Depending on the quality, prices were hovering around Rs 3,200 to Rs 4,200 per quintal on good export demand and shortage of good quality produce,” he added.

Average arrivals a day in this APMC market yard, spread over 60 acres, are about one lakh bags.

Chilli farmers from different parts of the state and neighbouring States bring their produce to the Guntur market, which also serves as an export hub. Spices produced in Prakasam, Krishna, Khammam and Warangal districts are also brought to Guntur for trading.
Fire at Cairn warehouse

Meanwhile, a warehouse of Cairn Energy in Vakalapudi near Kakinada in Andhra Pradesh caught fire.

The company stores pipes in the warehouse and reportedly, they have been gutted. Fire tenders from Nagarjuna Fertiliser Corporation and Godavari Fertiliser Corporation were rushed to put out the fire.”
