ஸ்பெயினில் கடந்த 1975ஆம் ஆண்டு முடிவுக்கு வந்த ராணுவ தளபதி பிரான்சிஸ்கோ பிரான்கோவின் நாற்பது ஆண்டுகால ஆட்சியை அதிகாரபூர்வமாக கண்டிக்கும் வரலாற்று முக்கியத்துவம் வாய்ந்த சட்டம் ஒன்றை ஸ்பெயின் நாடாளுமன்றம் நிறைவேற்றியுள்ளது.
பிரான்கோவின் பாஸிச ஆட்சி என்று குறிப்பிட்டு கண்டிப்பதோடு 1936ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கும், 1939ஆம் ஆண்டுக்கும் இடைப்பட்ட காலத்தைச் சேர்ந்த கூட்டுப் புதைகுழிகள் தோண்டப்படுவதற்கான முயற்சிகளுக்கு பிராந்திய நிர்வாகங்கள் நிதி வழங்க வேண்டும் என்று உத்தரவிடும் மசோதாவை நாடாளுமன்றம் ஆதரித்து வாக்களித்துள்ளது.
ஜெனரல் பிரான்கோவின் ஆட்சியை குறிக்கும் வகையிலான சிலைகள், பதாகைகள் மற்றும் சின்னங்கள் அனைத்தும் பொது கட்டிடங்களிலுருந்து அகற்றப்படவேண்டும் என்றும் இந்த உத்தரவு கூறுகின்றது.
ஆறிய வடுக்களை மீண்டும் கிளறிவிட்டு சமுதாயத்தை பிளவுபடுத்த பார்க்கிறது சோஷலிஸ அரசு என்று பழமைவாத எதிர்கட்சி குற்றம்சாட்டியுள்ளது.
