சமீபத்தில் நண்பர்களுக்கு அறிமுகமாக நான் எழுதிகொண்டது:
நான் பாலாஜி. அமெரிக்காவில் பாஸ்டன் பக்கம் வசிப்பதாலும் இணையத்தில் நிறைய பாலாஜிகள் இருந்ததாலும் புனைப்பெயர் வைக்க கற்பனைப் பஞ்சத்தினாலும் ‘பாஸ்டன்’ பாலாஜி என்று அழைக்கப் படுகிறேன்.
பள்ளிக் கூட பருவத்தில் வீடு நிறைய புத்தகங்களாக இருக்கும். அம்மா ஆர். பொன்னம்மாள் ஓர் எழுத்தாளர். ஆன்மிகம், குழந்தை இலக்கியம், சங்க இலக்கியம் போன்றவற்றில் தீவிர ஈடுபாடும் நூற்றுக்கணக்கான புத்தகங்களையும் வெளியிட்டுள்ளார். என்னுடைய அம்மாவைக் குறித்து விரிவான அறிமுகம் தொகுக்க ஆரம்பித்து, பாதியில் தொக்கி நிற்கிறது. தற்போதும் காமகோடி, கோகுலம், ஞான ஆலயம் போன்ற பத்திரிகைகளிலும் வானதி, திருமகள் போன்ற பதிப்பாளர்களிடமிருந்து புத்தகங்களிலும் செயல்பட்டு வருகிறார்.
அவர்கள் உந்துதலில் +2 வரை கண்டதும் படிக்க முடிந்தது. சில சமயம் அமுதசுரபி; கணையாழி; மஞ்சரி; பல சமயம் விகடன்; குமுதம்; திசைகள்; தவறவிடாமல் புஷ்பா தங்கதுரை; சுஜாதா; ப.கோ.பி.; ராஜேஷ்குமார். எப்பொழுதாவது லஷ்மி; சிவசங்கரி; கல்கி.
கல்லூரியில் படிப்பும் ஆங்கிலப் புத்தகங்கள் மட்டுமே வாசிக்க கிடைத்த வடக்கு இந்தியா. என்றாலும் படைப்பார்வத்தில் பல கதைகளும் சில குறுநாவல்களும் எழுதினேன். அவற்றில் சில தமிழோவியம் வெளியிட்டது:

ஐந்து வருடம் முன்பு இரா. முருகனால் நடத்தப்படும் ராயர் காபி கிளப் சேர்ந்த பிறகுதான் மீண்டும் தமிழில் எழுதப் பழகினேன். அதன்பின் திண்ணை, வலைப்பதிவு, மரத்தடி, தமிழோவியம் போன்ற வலையகங்களில் தொடர்ந்து (பெரும்பாலும்) கட்டுரைகள், சில சமயம் புனைகதைகள் எழுதி வருகிறேன்.
சமீபத்தில் தினமொரு வலைப்பதிவாக அறிமுகம் செய்யும் தேன்கூடு கொடுத்த அறிமுகம்:
பாஸ்டன் பாலாஜி [பாபா] (என்கிற) பாலாஜி சுப்ரா, ஒரே சமயத்தில் பல குதிரைகளில் பயணம் செய்பவர்! தனது வலைப்பதிவில் தினம் ஏதாவது ஒன்று புதிதாக இருக்குமாறு பார்த்துக் கொள்ளும் நபர்களில் ஒருவர். தமிழ் இணையத்தில் எங்காவது ஏதாவது தீப்பொறி கிளம்பினால், அதைக் குறித்து மறைமுகமான நையாண்டிக் கட்டுரையோ அல்லது கணிப்போ இவரது வலைப்பதிவில் இடம் பெற்றிருக்கும்.
இவரது வலைப்பதிவில் குமுதம் ரேஞ்ச் பதிவுகளும் இடம் பெறும்; இலக்கிய சர்சைகளும் இடம் பெறும். ஏகப்பட்ட தகவல்கள், தொடுப்புகள் என்று கொடுத்திருப்பார். இத்தனை தகவல்களை இவர் எங்கிருந்து திரட்டுகிறார் என்பதில் பலருக்கு பிரம்மிப்பு. இணையம் மற்றும் வலைப்பதிவுகள் குறித்து பாஸ்டன் பாலாஜியால் எழுதப்படும் கட்டுரைகள், கவனத்தினை ஈர்ப்பவை.
இரண்டாண்டுகளுக்கும் மேலாக தொடர்ந்து வலைப்பதிந்து வரும் பாஸ்டன் பாலாஜி, குழுமங்களிலும், தமிழோவியம், திசைகள் போன்ற பல இணைய இதழ்களிலும் பரவலாக எழுதி வருபவர். இலக்கிய ஆர்வலர். வலைப்பதிவாளர்களை உற்சாகப்படுத்தும் சகா. படித்தில் பிடித்ததை சொல்லத் தயங்காதவர். கில்லி – யில் ஒரு ஆட்டக்காரர்.தமிழோவியம் ஆசிரியர் குழுவிலும் ஒருவர் என்பது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.
